We often refer to C grade sandstone as “hybrid” sandstone, as it is a cross between sawn dimensional sandstone and random. What this means is we are able to achieve a very flat faced wall with a 'jig saw' design due to the inconsistent size rock. This C grade wall we built in Mt Gravatt is a great example of this.
C GRADE ROCK WALL | MT GRAVATT, BRISBANE
As a C grade wall is more affordable than A and B grade it is perfect for those who require a large wall; however, prefer a flatter face in comparison to random. This is an example of a multi tiered wall we did for a client at the back of their property which they have used as garden beds.
C GRADE SANDSTONE ROCK WALL | KINGSHOLME, GOLD COAST
Just like this property at Kingsholme C grade sandstone is perfect for large tiered walls. This wall was constructed to create a flat pad at the back of the house, garden beds and a set of stairs to a gentle slope. This was designed to provide more usable space for the family whilst making the property easier to maintain.
