C GRADE SANDSTONE

“hybrid” sandstone - cross between sawn dimensional sandstone and random

PROVIDES A  'JIG SAW' LOOK

We often refer to C grade sandstone as “hybrid” sandstone, as it is a cross between sawn dimensional sandstone and random. What this means is we are able to achieve a very flat faced wall with the appeal of the jigsaw pattern due to the inconsistent sizing. This C grade wall we built in Mt Gravatt is a great example of this.

GREAT FOR LARGE PROJECTS

As a C grade wall is far more affordable than A and B grade it is perfect for those who need a large wall; however, prefer a flatter face in comparison to random. Just like this C grade retaining wall we built in brookfield.

PERFECT FOR LARGE TIERED WALLS

Just like this property at Kingsholme C grade sandstone is perfect for large tiered walls. This wall is actually a four tiered wall with garden beds between providing a useable pad above the wall and a gentle slope below that the owners have since turfed.
