A Grade Sawn Sandstone

What is A grade?

A Grade Sawn Sandstone has between 5-6 sawn sides which produces a polished look. It will certainly make a grand entrance to any property!  This wall was created by the Stonemasters team using A Grade Sandstone in Brookwater, Ipswich.

Why use A grade?

A grade sandstone is perfect if you would like a structured or ‘brick lay’ look. It allows you to have consistency in sizes and shapes creating a polished finish. The multiple sawn faces allow these rocks to be used in tight and awkward spaces – just like this wall we built at Waterford, Logan.

This is an A Grade Sandstone wall Stonemasters built in Mitchelton, Brisbane. It is a perfect example of the consistency in size of the rock.
